Agia Anna (Paraga) Snorkel

37° 24.6′ N · 25° 20.9′ E

A tiny sand cove between Platis Gialos and Paraga whose rocky sides make a good snorkel, with Nikolas taverna on the sand for lunch afterwards.

Practical

Greeka: 'its seabed is a great option for snorkeling in Mykonos'. This is the Agia Anna near Paraga, not the Agia Anna by Kalafatis or the one in Chora's harbour; Mykonos has several. Reach it from a Platis Gialos or Paraga anchorage by dinghy, landing outside the swimmer buoys, or along the coast path from Platis Gialos (about 15 minutes). Sea-taxi caiques run past constantly, so snorkel close to the rocks and tow a float. Position is the OSM 'Agia Anna Paragkas' beach.

Best for

Snorkel plus taverna lunch on the south coast

Season

Jun-Sep; calm in N winds
