Agia Anna Harbour (Naxos)
37° 4.0′ N · 25° 21.3′ E
A little fishing harbour and mole at the lively resort of Agia Anna, with tavernas on the sand, shops a few steps away and a water taxi across to Piso Livadi on Paros.
Practical
mySea: moor bow- or stern-to on the outer end of the pier (3.8 m), with water and electricity. You can also anchor in the area sheltered by the pier and breakwater in 0.5-3 m, where the seabed rises quickly in places. mySea says it is protected except from westerlies. Sailingissues is more cautious: lie alongside the mole or stern-to on its lee side, but it is 'not suitable in meltemi/mistral conditions'. There is a sunken chain about two boat lengths long, linked to the mole on its south side near the bend. Tripper boats take most berths. Supermarkets nearby: Maragas, Aspasia Market (OSM). An ARGO fuel station is on the road at 37.06839, 25.36337. Sailingissues recommends the 40-minute walk to the Sanctuary of Dionysus at Iria. Port Authority of Naxos +30 22850 22300 (GTP).
Best for
Lunch stop or calm-weather night by the beach resorts
Season
