Vaitape's waterfront strip has the island's banks and ATMs, the town hall and the Bora Bora tourism committee office, all a few minutes' walk from the dinghy landing.

Banks (OSM): Banque Socredo (16.5018°S), Banque de Polynésie (by the town hall) and Banque de Tahiti (south end of town, +689 40 60 59 99). Carry cash XPF for BBMS moorings, roulottes and small shops. Tourism committee (Comité du Tourisme) by the quay, +689 40 67 76 36; Noonsite suggests asking here where you may swim and snorkel in the lagoon. Post office in Vaitape. Coordinate is the Tahiti Tourisme pin for the tourism committee.
