Moorea's ferry port, with fast ferries from Papeete running many times a day. It is the easiest place for crew changes and day trips to Tahiti.
Practical
Aremiti fast ferry about 40 min, 10–11 times a day (Wikivoyage, Oct 2022 fares; verify locally). Car rental desks (Avis, Europcar, Coco Green Car) at the terminal; buses meet ferries. Yachts must give way to ferries in Vaiare Pass and the bay. Temae airport (MOZ) is a short drive north.
