Tapu Shark Dive Site
16° 30.0′ S · 151° 47.0′ W
Bora Bora's signature shark dive on the outer reef just south of Teavanui Pass: lemon sharks show up within the first ten meters, with other reef sharks around.
Practical
Coordinate from Tahiti Tourisme. Outside the barrier reef off Motu Tapu, so it is a boat dive with a dive center. The pass's outflowing current and swell make it unsuitable for dinghy diving. OSM marks a 'shark feeding' attraction nearby. Book with Top Dive (north Vaitape), Bora Diving Center (Matira) or other centers listed by Tahiti Tourisme.
