The public dock at Papetoai village on the west shore of the Opunohu Bay entrance, which gives dinghy access to the village's shops, post office and the historic octagonal temple.
Practical
Dinghy access to Papetoai village, except on cruise-ship stopover days (a tender berth is mapped here). Village: shops and groceries, post office, hardware store, Tahiti's Bar, snacks; the Tamaeva cultural centre offers weaving, cooking and dance workshops. It's the nearest landing for the Papetoai lagoon anchorage and the Tiki sculptures.
