A beach-front dive centre at PK 27.6 on the northwest coast, the only one on the island not inside a resort, diving 11 outer-reef, pass and lagoon sites about 15 minutes away.

Rates on its site (XPF; no year shown, verify locally): two dives 15,000, one dive 8,500, intro or refresh 10,500, 6/8/10-dive packs 44,000/57,000/69,000; Te Moana and eDiving inter-island passes accepted; 15-litre tank 1,000. A 2011 cruiser was picked up by the owner from the CRIOBE research station dock and noted the centre did not feed sharks. Dinghy to the beach from the Tiahura or Papetoai anchorages.
