Approximate position: Mataura village centre (OSM); the store is not mapped by name. Chugach (2020) counted about 3 groceries, the main one in Mataura, which also sells 13 kg French gas bottles. Tubuai is big, fertile and agricultural: roadside stands sell lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, even carrots and potatoes (Pitufa 2018). Other mapped shops: Magasin Chung Tien in Taahuaia and Magasin Oparu in Mahu. Lychees ripen in December.
