Two small local sources cruisers rely on: a chicken farm up the pass road for fresh eggs, and Moana Cafe on the main road for ice and fresh fish.

approx: the pin is the chicken farm on the pass road. Pitufa (2020) says it is about 5 minutes' walk up the road toward the pass, on the left beside the geophysical station; you will smell it. You can also call Yves on VHF 16 to meet at the main dock. 20 eggs cost 800 XPF (2020, verify locally). Moana Cafe is 0.4 mile north of the main dock on the right (small sign). It is not really a cafe but sells ice (glace) and sometimes fresh fish, which carries a ciguatera risk.
