The village fish trap (parc à poissons) on the reef flat just off Motupapu, opposite the small islet of Motu Matahai.

Coordinate from OpenStreetMap (aquaculture area 'Parc à poisson'), about 50 m south of the 'Petite marina'. Motu Matahai and the barrier reef lie just beyond, about 150 m to the south. The trap belongs to village families: don't anchor or run a dinghy through it, and don't take fish. Ask at the mairie if you want to buy fish.
