Practical

Approximate: representative mid-lagoon point; farm locations change. Commune sheet (July 2024): 23 pearl farmers, 138.3 ha and 340 collecting stations. Migration (May 2009) met farmers Calixte and Tania, scuba-dived the oyster lines and learned the whole process. Ask in the village who welcomes visitors, and give buoy lines a wide berth: lines can be just below the surface.
