Practical
June 2020 (Soggy Paws compendium): Olivier teaches fiberglass work at the local college and lives with his wife Aro south of the village near the cemetery, past Magasin Otepa: the house is on the left, facing the cemetery, with a garden in front. Both speak French with very little English. Sugar Shack contacted them after maramu damage in the old basin, but the weather prevented the work, so the repair quality is not confirmed. Ask at the magasins for a current contact. Hao's CETAD vocational school trains for maritime trades. Position approximate: placed in Otepa village just SE of the main quay, derived from the compendium's walking directions; confirm on arrival. The compendium lists Olivier's WhatsApp as +689 87 33 88 73 (June 2020); verify before relying on it.
