Feb 2019: Magasin Jojo, Magasin Vahine and Magasin Otepa sell local bottles at 2,900 XPF for the gas plus a 3,000 XPF deposit, refunded when you return the empty (keep the receipt). Prices are from 2019, so verify locally. Cruisers gravity-decant into their own tanks; one crew did it under the shaded hut on the old military basin's inner dock, hoisting the bottle on the roof beam. A universal adapter kit such as GasBoat makes this possible anywhere. Position approximate: placed in Otepa village just SE of the main quay, derived from the compendium's walking directions; confirm on arrival. Noonsite's Hao page (2025) gives no LPG fill service either, consistent with decanting being the only option.
