The town hall and post office sit side by side up the valley road. The mairie is the place to arrange a 4x4 or guide to Omoa.

Directions: take the main road, turn right at the bridge and follow the road left. Mairie tel +689 40 46 59 60 (compendium). Mairie hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. Post office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7 to 11 am, Wednesday 7 to 9 am (compendium; verify locally). In July 2023 the mairie arranged a 4x4 truck tour to Omoa for 15,000 XPF for four. Mobile data was unreliable in 2018 (Vini hotspot visible but unusable); Iridium is poor in the steep bay.
