Anaa Lagoon Quay (Tukuhora)
17° 20.7′ S · 145° 31.4′ W
Tukuhora's small quay on the lagoon side, used by local boats heading across Anaa's shallow, luminous lagoon.
Practical
Coordinate is the pier mapped in OpenStreetMap on the lagoon shore of the village. The 2021 government sheet lists '1 quai côté lagon à rénover' and a single unloading landing 'à réhabiliter', with a new quay planned. The supply ships work cargo by barge, since Anaa has no navigable pass. The lagoon averages only 5-6 m with many coral heads, so it is for local skiffs. Ask at the mairie or a guesthouse about a boat to the Vaitea sub-lagoon or the feo coast.
