Roški slap (Krka)

43° 54.2′ N · 15° 58.5′ E

The upper Krka waterfall, quieter than Skradinski buk, with a long run of small cascades above the main drop. It is one of the few places in the park where swimming is still allowed in a marked area in summer.

Practical

Coordinate is the falls (OSM node 1593981005). Reach it on the park excursion boat from Skradinski buk (extra fee, about a half-day trip) or by car or taxi from Skradin. Swimming only in the marked area, 1 June-30 September, at your own risk and subject to water level. Boats to the Nečven and Trošenj fortresses leave from here. Included in the all-sites land ticket; a cheaper ticket covers Roški slap and the upper sites only.

Best for

Swimming at Krka the legal way; fewer crowds

Season
