Skradinski buk
43° 48.3′ N · 15° 57.8′ E
The biggest and best-known waterfall on the Krka: a wide staircase of travertine steps and pools spilling down in a long series of cascades. A wooden boardwalk loop takes you over and around the falls.
Practical
Coordinate is the falls (OSM node 4380753729). Reach it by the park boat from Skradin (included in the ticket Apr-Oct) or by the park bus from Lozovac. Swimming here has been banned since 2021 to protect the travertine; the old photos of people bathing are out of date. Allow a couple of hours. Go on the first boats; by late morning in summer it is very crowded. The boats to Visovac and Roški slap start here.
Best for
The classic Krka waterfall walk
Season
