Milna (Hvar) / Mala Milna

A small bay with a hamlet and beaches about 2 nm east of Hvar Town on the south coast. A calmer place to spend the night than town, with a walk or short taxi into Hvar.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM bay node 'Uvala Mala Milna'; Milna village is just east. Mooring buoys and a breakwater; restaurants ashore serve their own wine. South-coast bays give good shelter from bura (NE) and most from maestral (NW), but none are safe in a strong jugo (SE). Illegal buoys at Milna were removed by the harbour master in 2017, so use licensed ones.
