Santiago de Tolú (San Bernardo Launch Port)
9° 31.4′ N · 75° 35.1′ W
The mainland beach town on the Gulf of Morrosquillo from which launches run to the San Bernardo islands in about an hour - basic supplies and small spare parts, but no yacht facilities.
Practical
OSM position for the town. National guide: none of the gulf towns has facilities or staff for major maintenance or repairs - those are in Cartagena; small parts and spares can be found in Tolú; the tour companies' small docks along Avenida Primera can occasionally take dinghies; the seabed is too shallow for sailboats to berth at the docks. Parques Nacionales: authorized operators leave from the Carrera Primera docks, about 1 hour to the islands. Dry marina Tolú Náutica (Av. 1 9-48) sells Suzuki outboards and does fiberglass work; Club Náutico Mar Adentro deals Yamaha parts.
