An isolated lagoon at Aruba's southeast end beside Rodgers Beach and Baby Beach, secure from the trades, with colourful fishing boats and the old Lago refinery on the skyline.
Practical
Choose the NE corner near the restaurant in about 8 ft; watch for old jetty pilings below the surface; secure in easterlies but SW winds bring wind and sea in; you cannot dinghy to the village because the area north of the lagoon is restricted (Virgintino 2015). Entrance waypoint 12°25.22'N 69°54.09'W (Virgintino). Rodgers Beach has a dive shop, shower, restaurant and calm water (aruba.com). Coordinate approx: NE corner off the OSM Rodgers Beach.
