Negril town at the south end of Long Bay has several supermarkets and plenty of fruit and vegetable stands - enough to restock between Montego Bay and the south coast.
Practical
Coordinate approximate (a small supermarket in Negril town per OpenStreetMap; shops are spread around the town centre and roundabout). Virgintino (2015): proceed south from Bloody Bay and anchor directly off the town, leave the dinghy at a waterside establishment or dock and ask someone to watch it; the town has ample supermarkets and many fruit and vegetable stands; Negril's small airport has daily flights to Montego Bay and Kingston (about US$60 one way in 2015 - verify locally). Negril is not a port of entry. Hurricane Melissa (Category 5, October 28, 2025) caused severe damage in western Jamaica; confirm the business is operating before you go.
