Montego Bay Yacht Club Easter Regatta

The club's two-day Easter-weekend regatta, a fixture of the Montego Bay racing calendar, sailed mainly in the club's J/22 one-design fleet on Montego Bay itself.
Practical
Coordinate approximate (club basin on the Freeport peninsula). Held over the Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend: in 2017, Day 1 was April 15 and Day 2 April 16 (club results page). It sits in the club season with Series 1 and 2 (January-March), the Bob Mallasch and Paul Eldemire series (May-June) and the skipper series in July. The club also hosted the JAMIN Regatta, November 30-December 3, 2023. The current year's dates are on the MBYC racing schedule; call the office (+1 876 979-8038, VHF 16) to ask about crewing. In odd years the Pineapple Cup (separate entry) finishes at the club in April, so the docks are busy around Easter.
