Marina Casa de Campo (La Romana)

18° 23.5′ N · 68° 54.2′ W

A Mediterranean-style yacht village inside the Casa de Campo resort at the mouth of the Río Chavón: hundreds of slips, a shipyard, restaurants, shops and resort golf and polo. It is the most complete marina in the DR.

Practical

Entrance waypoint from the Virgintino DR guide (~2015): well-buoyed entrance between Punta Minas and the Río Chavón; call on VHF 16 or working channel 68 (Spanish, English, French and Italian). Depths 11–15 ft; tidal range about 6 inches; stern-to on concrete quays; pilot dinghies help you dock; 110 and 220 V power, water, 24-hour security. The guide lists about 400 slips from 30 to 250 ft. The marina (2026) lists a 90,000 m² facility with fuel, customs assistance, laundry, grocery delivery to your boat, and the IBC Shipyard with a 300-ton crane. Phone +1-809-523-8646 (GoDominicanRepublic). Expensive. La Romana town is about 8 miles away and Altos de Chavón about 3.
