Bayahibe's small fuel dock at the southwest end of the village bay, the only fuel stop between La Romana and Saona.

Practical

Position approx: SW end of Bayahibe village waterfront per the Virgintino guide (~2015); confirm the dock on arrival. Depth shoals from 6 ft in the bay to 4 ft at the dock, so deeper boats should jerry-can or come in at the top of the tide. Very little water is available; buy 5-gallon jugs of purified water and a small range of canned food at the colmado. Avoid the dock 9 to 11am and 3 to 6pm when the Saona tour boats crowd the bay.
