Position is GeoNames 'Mimitimbi Bluff'. Reached on foot or bike from Bluff Beach (Playa Escondida is about 2 km beyond Bluff; a 500 m trail from the road also leads there); the path can be cut by high water — check surf reports (Tourism Panama). Only swimmable in calm seas. Open-ocean coast — not a yacht anchorage; Savarona's dinghy was nearly flipped by a breaking wave off a reef on this coast, so don't approach by dinghy in swell (Savarona 2017).
