A reef-enclosed anchorage at Grand Turk's southeast end, off the old Hawkes Nest salina and White Sands Beach, with good shelter once inside.
Practical
Coordinate approximate: inside the reef off White Sands Beach — the entrance is encumbered with reefs, so enter only in good overhead light with a bow lookout (Noonsite 2023). Close to the cruise centre and South Dock customs. Noonsite also mentions a sandy anchorage in 3–4 m on the west side of the islet called 'The Creek' south of Grand Turk, sheltered from easterlies.
