Getsemaní & Plaza de la Trinidad
10° 25.2′ N · 75° 32.7′ W
Cartagena's most vibrant barrio, just outside the walls: bars, restaurants, salsa clubs and the nightly scene around the Plaza de la Trinidad - the easiest night out from the Manga anchorage.
Practical
OSM position for Plaza de la Trinidad. A short walk over the Román bridge from Manga. The area around the Trinidad church is popular for bars, classy restaurants and people-watching (Cruiser's Guide). Café Havana (Calle de la Media Luna & Calle del Guerrero) has live Cuban music and mojitos. 'Comida corriente' set lunches (soup, rice, patacones, meat or fish) cost a few dollars at local eateries. Restaurants charge 8% tax; a 10% 'propina' is often added - check the bill. Dinner rarely starts before 7 pm. Use taxis late at night.
Best for
Dinner, live music and nightlife
