Eagle Ray Alley (South Caicos)
21° 28.2′ N · 71° 31.3′ W · approximate
A shallow South Caicos dive named for the squadrons of spotted eagle rays that glide through, one of the best places in the country to see them in groups.
Practical
Coordinate approximate: plotted on the south-coast reef near The Grotto, which Divernet (Dec 2025) places on the eastern wall; get the exact mooring from the operator. DAN's Alert Diver (Q3 2023) describes it, with nearby Dove Cay, as a shallow dive where eagle rays often gather in groups. Admiral Cockburn Land & Sea National Park rules apply: no take, moorings or sand only. Guided trips only through Adventures by Salterra, the island's sole dive operation, which mainly serves resort guests: ask ahead.
