Duppy Waters (Utila)
16° 7.0′ N · 86° 56.7′ W · approximate
A north-side Utila reef ('duppy' is island talk for ghost) visited on the round-island dive runs, with 'lots of everything' on a gentle reef to about 30 m.
Practical
Approximate: Wannadive gives only a whole-minute latitude (16°7'N, 86°56.715'W); the point falls in the water off Utila's north shore near Turtle Harbour, but it is not a site waypoint. Wannadive: average 15 m, max 30 m, low current, all levels; dive boats reach it while circumnavigating the island. North-side sites are dived when the trades are light — the north coast is exposed.
Best for

Season
