A secure anchorage among the reefs and mangrove cays south of Bastimentos, just outside the marine park — the base for snorkeling Coral Cay and the run out to the Zapatillas.

Position approximate — near the GeoNames 'Canal Crawl Cay' channel point (9.23941, -82.14211); sound in and anchor on sand clear of coral. 'A secure place to anchor outside of the National Marine Park limits' (Scuttlebutt, 2020). No depths in our sources — use Bauhaus' guide or Navionics and good light. Restaurants on stilts at the cay. Day-tour boats come and go through midday.
