The one rule that matters on arrival: call George Town Port Security on VHF 16 as you enter Cayman territorial waters, and again when you arrive.

Same reference position as the George Town port of entry. Hail 'George Town Port Security' - a 2014 report says they do not reliably answer 'Port Authority'. Port Security monitors 16 and 14 around the clock (2018). Give vessel name, last port, persons aboard, next port and vessel particulars (Virgintino). They will assign a mooring or dock, notify Customs and Immigration, and redirect you to Spotts in a northwester. At Cayman Brac call on 16 approaching the island. Departing Cayman Brac requires 24 hours' notice on 16 (2023).
