Eden Rock & Devil's Grotto
19° 17.6′ N · 81° 23.2′ W
Shallow coral pinnacles riddled with tunnels and grottoes right off George Town, where tarpon hang in the caves; a classic shore snorkel and easy dive.
Practical
Position is DoE public mooring 'Eden Rock North'; DoE also lists Eden Rock South (19.2931N, 081.38727W) and Devil's Grotto North and South (19.29248N/19.29165N). Free DoE moorings: 3-hour limit, no overnighting, bow line through the pick-up eye with at least 10 ft of scope. Inside the Marine Park: no take, no anchoring. The sites sit beside the cruise-ship anchorage and Port Anchorage Area, so watch tender traffic; snorkel inside the boundary of a dive flag.
