Airport Point & Mangrove Point (dive sites)

Two sheltered shallow sites right by Bocas Town, with big coral colonies, rays and tropical fish, and a mangrove-edge reef that doubles as a snorkel.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate, set off the town shoreline because Tourism Panama says both sites are very close to Bocas Town and Isla Colón. Operators know the marks. Airport Point: maximum depth 50 ft (14 m), basic level, large coral colonies, tropical fish, urchins and rays, protected from wind and waves. Mangrove Point: maximum depth 60 ft (18 m), beginner level, mangroves and shallow corals, good for snorkeling, night dives and photography (Tourism Panama). Don't swim in the water right off town, which has high fecal-coliform levels (Wikipedia), and go by dive boat.
