Tay Bay snorkel (Preacher's Cave)
25° 33.6′ N · 76° 41.8′ W
An easy shore snorkel at Tay Bay beside Preacher's Cave, looking out over the reefs of the Devil's Backbone where the Eleutheran Adventurers wrecked.
Practical
Coordinate from the Eleuthera Map site marker 'Tay Bay Snorkel' ('just left of Preacher's Cave, an easy place to snorkel'). Shore access only: the north coast here is open ocean behind the Devil's Backbone, so do not try to bring a boat in; come by taxi or rental car with Preacher's Cave. Go only in calm conditions with no north swell, and stay inside the reef.
Best for
Snorkel stop on a Preacher's Cave land tour
