North Eleuthera Regatta

25° 29.4′ N · 76° 39.8′ W · approximate

North Eleuthera's annual Bahamian sloop-sailing regatta, with racing native sloops, a main stage and food stalls, run by the North Eleuthera Regatta Committee.

Practical

Coordinate approx: placed at the Three Island Dock (Harbour Island ferry landing) as a reference point for North Eleuthera; the sources do not state the race venue, so ask locally. Held in October: in 2024 Hurricane Milton cancelled the sloop races but the shore festival went ahead, and Kalik signed a two-year sponsorship (Eleuthera News, October 26, 2024). North Eleuthera is on the Ministry of Works and Family Island Affairs national regatta calendar (2024). The North Eleuthera Regatta Committee was still active in May 2026. October is the tail of hurricane season: keep a refuge in mind.
