Harbour Island north-end walk (Pink Sands to North Beach)

Walk the firm pink sand of Harbour Island's ocean beach north from the hotels to the quieter north end, then cut across to the Girl's Bank flats on the harbour side.
Practical
Coordinate is the Harbour Island Guide map's 'Beach Access North' public access. The Pink Sands beach is about 3 miles long and firm underfoot, ideal for a long early walk (Harbour Island Guide); public accesses are also marked mid-beach (25.501, -76.631) and at the south end (25.4873, -76.631). From the north access the road leads west to the Lone Tree on Girl's Bank (separate entry). Gusty's Bar is near the north end (OpenStreetMap). No shade; carry water.
