A 40,000-acre Bahamas National Trust park of pine forest and coppice protecting 22 inland blue holes on an island said to hold the world's largest collection of them.
Practical
Position from Wikipedia (park centroid; established 2002). Free entry; BNT guides by arrangement; restrooms, boardwalks and interpretive trails. The BNT page currently shows the park as 'Closed temporarily' with no reopening date: check before hiring a car. The pine forests are a birding hotspot for the endemic Bahama oriole and the great lizard cuckoo. Reach it by rental car or taxi from Fresh Creek or Staniard Creek. Andros has about 178 blue holes on land and at least 50 in the sea (Wikipedia). Wikipedia also records that Central Andros National Park was created by 2002 legislation; its boundaries are not detailed in the sources used here.
