The Victories (Victory Cays reef)

A short chain of rocks south-east of the Cat Cays that reviewers call the best snorkel in the Bimini islands: healthy fan coral, turtles, nurse sharks, rays, barracuda and schools of reef fish.
Practical
Position from ActiveCaptain. Anchor in 10-15 ft (or a sandy 8 ft patch) just east of the northernmost Victory rock in sand and rock; day anchorage only, no shore access. There is room to cut through between Wedge Rock and the Victories. Snorkel the west side, drifting south with the current while holding the dinghy painter (2019 review). bahamas.com lists 'Victory Reef' as a drift dive for experienced divers; whether that is this same reef was not confirmed.
