A Gulf-Stream-side anchorage off the west shore of North Cat Cay that shelters in a strong easterly, with reef diving at the Moxon Rocks nearby.
Practical
Position from ActiveCaptain. Approach from the west-north-west and drop visually in sand patches: grass forms ledges that anchors drag through. No protection from south swell and side roll from the Straits of Florida (2021 review). Moxon Rocks has good-sized fish, turtles and rays, but current is strong: dive at the turn of the tide. No dinghy landing (private island).
