Outer Little Harbour Anchorage
26° 19.8′ N · 76° 59.8′ W
A sand patch just outside the Little Harbour entrance, beside a coral reef you can snorkel straight off the boat, with an easy dinghy run into Pete's Pub - the choice for deeper drafts that cannot cross Little Harbour's shallow bar.
Practical
ActiveCaptain (February 2023): anchored two nights in about 10 ft in a sandy patch, holding fine; some swell but tolerable in a catamaran; 'great snorkeling' on the adjacent reef. ALIV signal fair, BTC fine. Open to swell from Little Harbour Bar and to N-NE winds; move to Lynyard Cay or inside Little Harbour if the ocean builds. Find sand - do not drop on the coral. ActiveCaptain and press reports predate or postdate Hurricane Dorian (Category 5, Sept 1, 2019) as dated; re-check businesses locally.
