Hope Town Harbour Lodge
26° 32.1′ N · 76° 57.5′ W
The 25-room lodge at the south end of Hope Town straddles the island, with its own ferry pier on the harbour and a pool and beach bar above the Atlantic beach. Cruisers come for a drink with one of the best views in the Bahamas and a swim off the beach in front of the lodge.
Practical
Coordinate is the Harbour Lodge building on OpenStreetMap; its Lodge Ferry Dock is just west on the harbour at 26.5360, -76.9583. Status check: its old website hopetownlodge.com now hosts unrelated content (checked October 2026), and we found no current menu or hours, so confirm it is serving before planning dinner. A 2015 cruising account notes that buying drinks at the bar gave access to the pool and beach. Old phone 242-366-0095 (verify). The beach behind the lodge is a public walk-over to the ocean side; snorkel the near-shore reef only in calm conditions.
Best for
