Froggies Out Island Adventures (Hope Town)

26° 32.2′ N · 76° 57.4′ W

Hope Town's long-running dive, snorkel and day-trip outfit, based on the harbour front in the village. Its classic run is a full day south to the reefs of the Pelican Cays/Sandy Cay park with snorkel and dive stops, then lunch at Pete's Pub in Little Harbour.

Practical

Coordinate is the Froggies building mapped on OpenStreetMap at the south end of the village, near the Lodge Ferry Dock. Status check: the old operator domain froggiesabaco.com now hosts an unrelated blog (checked October 2026), and we found no current schedule or prices, so confirm the shop is operating by walking in or asking on the Abaco Cruisers Net (VHF 68) before you plan around it. Older published prices (about $70 for an adult snorkel day trip, 2009) are long out of date, verify locally. A 2001 trip report describes a 10:00 am departure, about an hour's ride to Sandy Cay, a reef with barracuda, grouper, a sea turtle and a reef shark, and a wade for sand dollars on the way home. A 2002 diver review rated the boats basic and the sites shallow (22-60 ft), so experienced divers should ask what sites are on the day's plan. A 2008 ScubaBoard post calls it a nice operation in the harbour. Old phone 242-366-0431 (2009, verify).
