An anchorage off a nice little beach on the north side of Frazers Hog Cay, with better holding than the main sound and a good staging spot for runs south and east.
Practical
ActiveCaptain position. A January 2026 report rode out 20-30 kt from W, NW and N with eventual wrap-around waves but no drama, about 600 ft off the shore with 3.5 ft draft; tidal range about 2.5 ft. Good beach for stretching legs and dogs. A 2015 cruising blog anchored at 25°25.75'N 77°49.70'W.
