Chub Cay Fuel Dock Water

25° 24.8′ N · 77° 54.3′ W

Potable water taken on at the Chub Cay fuel dock, the one place at the south end of the Berries where transient boats can top up tanks between Bimini and Nassau.

Practical

ActiveCaptain fuel-dock position. The Chub Cay visit and fuel pages (read October 2026) say transients and non-members may take on fuel, water, ice and frozen bait at the fuel dock during operating hours, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and must be clear of the dock overnight. No water price is posted; an ActiveCaptain note from December 2015 recorded $0.40 per gallon at the slips with very high pressure, so verify locally on VHF 68 or at +1 786-209-0025. Written permission is required before entering the harbour: hail VHF 68 and email info@chubcay.com before arrival. Boats anchored at Chub Cay West or the Frazers Hog Cay anchorages can bring the boat in to fill tanks along with fuel. Great Harbour Cay Marina sells R/O water at $0.50/gal (rates from July 1, 2025) for the north end.
