An anchorage in the lee of Bird Cay at the south end of the Berries, with numerous beaches and good sand; a standard staging point for the jump to Nassau.

ActiveCaptain position. Approach from the SW, leaving the shallow sand bank to the north; anchor as close to Bird Cay as your draft allows. A 7 ft 3 in draft boat found good sand holding and no swell in light E/SE winds (2017). Services are limited to Chub. Good BTC. 25 reviews, average 3.6.
