An early-summer yellowfin tuna tournament based at the Grand Bahama Yacht Club in Lucaya, started in 2021 to bring sportfishing boats back to Freeport.

The inaugural event ran June 24 to 26, 2021, with 16 teams, ranked on combined catch weight over two fishing days, sponsored by the Grand Bahama Island Tourism/Promotion Board (Grand Bahama Vacations). The event has been listed in later years for late June at the same club; confirm the current year's dates with GBYC or the Bahamas tourism events calendar. Expect GBYC slips to be busy that week.
