Snorkel· Exuma Cays

The Sea Aquarium (O'Brien's Cay)

24° 19.6′ N · 76° 33.4′ W

A shallow coral garden off the northwest shoulder of O'Brien's Cay where decades of no-take protection have produced fish density you simply do not see elsewhere in the Exumas — sergeant majors, yellowtail, angelfish and parrotfish swarm you the moment you are in.

Practical

About 15 ft deep. Pick up a park dinghy mooring ball — do not anchor on coral. Current runs; snorkel on the slack or drift back to the dinghy. Strictly no-take, no gloves, no touching.

Best for

Highest fish density snorkel in the park
