The mainland strip facing Young Island Cut: a short sandy beach lined with small hotels, bars and restaurants, with Indian Bay's beach just to the west.
Practical
Land the dinghy at the Villa waterfront. Sunset Shores, Mangoz, Bungalow and Captain Lano's are mapped along the front (OpenStreetMap). Indian Bay Beach is a sandy beach about 600 m west, and the Indian Bay petroglyphs are on the point between the two. Two small islets, Dike and Dove Islands, sit off Indian Bay at the western entrance to the cut. Minibuses to Kingstown run along the main road behind the beach. Massy Stores and Sunrise Supermarket are at Arnos Vale, about 1.5-2 km north (OpenStreetMap).
