Tyrrel Bay Ferry Dock
12° 27.6′ N · 61° 29.0′ W
The Port Authority's ferry jetty in the middle of Tyrrel Bay, now Carriacou's main port. It doubles as a dinghy landing and, after Beryl, as a Customs base.
Practical
Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap ferry terminal node. Wikipedia and Noonsite say the port moved from Hillsborough to Tyrrel Bay. There is a dinghy dock on the main ferry dock (Noonsite). Per Doyle Guides (via Noonsite, Feb 2025), Customs was still working from the ferry port after Hurricane Beryl, while Immigration was back at Carriacou Marine. Ferries to Grenada call here (Pure Grenada lists the Osprey arriving at Tyrell Bay); timetables change often, so check locally. Keep clear of the approach when ferries are manoeuvring.
