Practical

Position is the Tobago Cays Marine Park Office as mapped in OpenStreetMap (way 485461664). Office: Clifton, Union Island; tel +1 784 485 8191, fax +1 784 485 8192 (tobagocays.org). Noonsite (TCMP manager's 2023 statement): the office is open to cruisers Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Rangers visit each yacht by boat in the Cays and in Clifton Harbour to collect the park entry fee (EC$15 per person) and the EC$60 per 24 hours mooring or anchoring fee, and brief crews on the rules (Yachting Monthly); pay only a uniformed TCMP ranger, or pay online at tobagocays.org. TCMP runs about 19-20 white mooring balls in Clifton Harbour; authorised boat assistants carry TCMP-logo cards. No dedicated VHF working channel for the rangers is published by the park; hail on VHF 16 or phone the office. Report reef damage, illegal fishing or security incidents to the rangers.
